Pampering: 5 steps to pamper yourself

So maybe the past few weeks you partied hard or maybe you worked hard.
Whatever you did, now it’s the time to take care of yourself a little bit more…
Here are 5 steps to pamper yourself in the best way possible without spending your salary in posh spas…
You don’t have to try all 5 steps at once…
Just try something every week in January, so you can refresh yourself after a wild holiday season.

1. Make your face glow!

After the holiday season, with the parties… the heavy make up routines… and the lack of sleep, your face needs special treatment so it will get back looking beautiful and healthy.
After cleaning your face properly, you can use a scrub to exfoliate your skin (The Body Shop Exfoliator is amazing and suitable for most sensitive skins)

The Body Shop Aloe Gentle Exfoliator £10

 and then apply a mask
(you can use one from Superdrug that has a great smell too).

Leave it for 10-20 minutes, take it off, clean your face from any left overs and your face will look shiny and glowy again!

2. Take care of your feet!

We usually forget to take care of our feet even though they are doing the hardest work of all: They squeeze into high heels, they walk, they run, they carry us all around!! So, it’s time to pay more attention to them. Soak your feet into a bowl of warm water, pump a small amount of the Margaret Dabbs Hydrating Foot Soak and stay there for 5-10 minutes.

3. Press “pause”

Sometimes it helps to stop thinking and worrying about everything in your life and just press “pause”. Wear your favorite pjs, lie in your bed and watch some of your favorite guilty pleasures (yes that includes the last episode of “Keeping up with the Kardashians”).

4. Hydrate your body like never before!

Usually we take a quick shower, we put some body lotion on and run like maniacs to catch the bus to go to work. This time, just take your time… Even if you’re not in the mood for a long bath, you can take a long shower using the amazing Nivea In Shower Moisturizer

and then when come out of the bathtub and apply all over your body a good body cream (try the Victoria’s Secret Amber Romance Body Cream).

Cover yourself with a big towel, lie in your bed and stay there 5-10 minutes. Your skin will be soft, like never before.

5. Don’t forget the hair!

We do so much with our hair but so little to take care of them. So, try to do a little extra to help them look healthier. Wash your with your favorite shampoo, apply a good hair mask (try the L’Oreal Hair Mask),

wrap your hair in a turbie towel (you can buy one in Primark), leave it for 15 minutes and then wash it off. The results will surprise you!
