Fashion Bitching (#25): MET GALA 2015

So now that everyone has been talking about it, it's my turn to have the final word on this year's Met Gala.
Every year celebrities from all over the world try to make a fashion statement at Anna Wintour's extravaganza. Sometime they succeed, sometimes they don't and that why we are here to bitch about it!
This year's theme was "China: Through The Looking Glass" but apparently most of the stars didn't get the memo...

Kate Hudson is wearing Michael Kors
This look is a great interpretation of the concept and she looks amazing!
Well done Kate!
Score: 9/10

Amal Clooney in Maison Margiela

First of all, I would like to congratulate Amal for forgetting her gloves at home. Other than that... see you next time Amal!
Score: 7/10

Anne Hathaway in Ralph Lauren

I'm a big Star Wars fan too but I try not to show it on the red carpet (If I would ever walked in one).
May the force be with you Anne and better styling luck next time.
Score: 7/10

Beyonce in Givenchy

Beyonce remembered to practise some new poses for the red carpet, but forgot to get dressed.
My dear Beyonce we all know you look hot, you don't need this...
Score: 6/10

Cara Delavigne in Stella McCartney
I love the concept with the tattoos and the styling is amazing, but there is something about this jumpsuit that doesn't look flattering on Cara...
Score: 8/10

Chloe Sevigny in JW Anderson

No Chloe, women in China don't dress like that...
Score: 3/10

Diane Kruger in Chanel
I love the fact that Diane Kruger always takes risks on the red carpet. But this time the look is a little bit boring... Maybe if she tried a different pair of shoes...
Score: 7/10

Jennifer Lawrence in Dior
Finally someone who tried to incorporate the "China" concept into her look. And she looks amazing...
Score: 8.5/10

Jennifer Lopez in Versace
Jennifer Lopez's laptop has been broken for days. She didn't receive any email about the concept of the event. Her stylist said something about glass, so she decided to go naked... Who cares about China?
Score: 7/10

Kendall Jenner in Calvin Klein
I have this feeling that Kendall Jenner look always the same. Same hair, same styling, same make up. And yes, she is beautiful but still...
Score: 6/10

Kim Kardashian in Roberto Cavalli

 - Kanye I'm thinking on going naked to the MET GALA this year...
- Whatever you want baby...
Score: 6/10

Lady Gaga in Balenciaga
Kimonos are Japanese, not Chinese, ok?
Score: 4/10

Madonna in Moschino
When Madonna is going to an event fully dressed and doesn't show her ass on the red carpet, then we are talking about a real improvement...
Score: 8/10

Maggie Gyllenhaal in Roland Mouret
One more time for Maggie: There is something called "bra" and you need it. Now.
Score: 4/10

Poppy Delevigne in Marchesa
I love this dress and Poppy looks amazing in it.
Score: 9/10

Zendaya in Fausto Puglisi
I don't have words... only sounds and they are not nice...
Score: 2/10

Rihanna in Guo Pei Couture
After all the fuss on the internet about this cape, all I can think about now is pizza with pepperoni...
Score: 6/10

Sarah Jessica Parker in H&M and Philip Tracey hat
Ok, you want to go for the big statement hat. Why wear this ugly dress?
Score: 5/10

Selena Gomez in Vera Wang
A breathe of fresh air on the red carpet with the touch of China. Finally.
Score: 9/10

Sienna Miller in Thakoon Panichgul
No, China is not known for its matadors. They are in Spain. S-P-A-I-N.
Score: 4/10

Solange Knowles in Giles.
Solange's grandmother always used to say to her that the world is her oyster. And she decided to dress like one. They eat oysters in China, right?
Score: 2/10

Zhang Ziyi in Carolina Herrera
Just perfection. Just saying.
Score: 10/10
