Fashion Bitching (#26): Tony Awards 2015

Tony Awards red carpet is not an event that I ever thought to review before.
But with so many famous stars starring in plays the last few years, this particular red carpet is getting more glamorous and more tasteful every year. So let's see what happened last Sunday in New York...

Rose Byrne is wearing Delpozo

I like when I watch stars going for a red frock on the red carpet. Especially when they nail it like Rose Byrne. Head to toe perfection.
Score: 10/10

Kendall Jenner in Calvin Klein
Kendall looks beautiful as always but this look reminds of a girls night out, not a red carpet event.
Score: 8/10

Jennifer Lopez in Valentino
Wow! That's something I always say when I see Jennifer Lopez on the red carpet. Sometimes in a good way, sometimes in a not so good way. But this time, she looks divine. Her hair and make up look amazing and the dress is fabulous! Way to go Jennifer!
Score: 10/10

Vanessa Hudgens is wearing Naeem Khan

Finally Vanessa Hudgens found the way to get dressed on the red carpet according to her age! Fresh, playful, gorgeous. Keep up the good work Vanessa!
Score: 9/10

Kristen Chenoweth in Zac Posen
I'm not a big fan of the whole look but she looks beautiful and sometimes that's all it matters.
Score: 8/10

Helen Mirren in Badgley Mischka
When I grow up (any minute now) I want to be as stylish and beautiful as Helen Mirren looks almost every time on the red carpet.
Score: 9/10

Kiesza in Anne Sophie Madsen
Is this actually a dress? Or is just random things thrown on Kiesza's body?
That is the question...
Score: 4/10

Joan Smalls in Givenchy
When you have the body of Joan Smalls you will look amazing even if you wrap yourself with newspapers. But that doesn't mean that this look is succesful. Better luck next time...
Score: 6/10

Carey Mulligan is wearing Balenciaga
If I could read Carey's mind that moment I think I would hear her say: I didn't want to come tonight... I wanted see the new episode of Game of Thrones... Well, I covered myself with a duvet and I came, happy now?
Score: 6/10

Amanda Seyfried in Oscar de la Renta
Well, that's a big change! Amanda crossed on the "dark" side but she still looks beautiful. But I have to admit I prefer her blonde version.
Score: 8/10

Patricia Clarkson in Alexander McQueen
I will definitely dream about this dress tonight.
Score: 9/10

Ashley Green in Jason Wu
Some dresses look good in theory or on a tall model but when you wear them something goes wrong and you turn out to look like a cheap date. Maybe Ashley needs to leave the theory aside and practise more...
Score: 7/10

I think I'm going to put Tony Awards on my bitching calendar after all. See you next year!
