Fashion Bitching (#27): Oscars 2016

It's that time of the year again... when the biggest Hollywood stars walk the red carpet and we get to bitch about their looks. But this year is special. Is the year that Leonardo Di Caprio won an Oscar and Kate Winslet was there to cheer! Awww...
Time to get back to business:

Alicia Vikander is wearing Louis Vuitton

Alicia Vikander has done some amazing appearances on the red carpet this award season and I was deeply disappointed with this "I want to be princess" look.
Score: 6/10

Brie Larson in Gucci
Gucci is the hottest designer house at the moment and every star wants to wear its clothes. Brie Larson turned out to be the lucky one but unfortunately with this belt and this styling she totally lost a big opportunity to make a fashion statement.
Score: 7/10

Cate Blanchett is wearing Armani Prive
If I saw this dress on anyone else I would propably hate it. But on Cate Blanchett everything works and looks fabulous.
Score: 9/10

Charlize Theron in Dior
Boobs was the hit of the night. Almost every star wore a gown with low, very low neckline. Charlize looks fabulous but why she had to wear this long necklace?
Score: 8/10

Charlotte Rampling in Armani Prive
When you are chic and graceful by nature, it doesn't matter what you wear. But this Armani dress really matches Charlotte Rampling's style. If only she could find better shoes and the look would be perfect.
Score: 8/10

Chrissy Teigen is wearing Marchesa
Chrissy Teigen seems to know how to be pregnant but still look sexy and classy. I love the styling!
Score: 8/10

Emily Blunt in Prada
On the other hand, Emily Blunt thinks when you are pregnant you need to dress like you're going to your cousin's wedding in a small village in the mountains.
Score: 4/10

Heidi Klum in Marchesa
Heidi Klum loves Halloween. She loves it so much that she wears Halloween costumes on the red carpet.
Score: 3/10

Jennifer Garner is wearing Atelier Versace
Sure, we've seen this style before but all this old Hollywood styling and how perfectly this dress fits her make me to actually love the overall look. Jennifer Garner is back to her old fashionable self.
Score: 8/10

Jennifer Lawrence in Dior
I like the fact that she dared to do something different and chose a more sassy look but I expected to be wowed and I didn't. Sorry Jen.
Score: 8/10

Kerry Washington is wearing Atelier Versace
Kerry Washington always likes to take risks on the red carpet but this is not a risk. This is a bad sequel of Matrix.
Score: 4/10

Lady Gaga in Brandon Maxwell
I never thought I would say this, but I miss the days when Lady Gaga was wearing meat on red carpet or she was carried inside an egg. Those were the days... Now, it's just boring...
Score: 6/10

Margot Robbie in Tom Ford
Ok, metallics are a huge trend right now but this dress for some reason looks so outdated that even the effortless and cool styling can't save it.
 Score: 5/10

Naomi Watts is wearing Armani Prive
I have nothing bad to say about this dress but I have nothing good to say either.
Score: 6/10

Olivia Wilde in Valentino
See Olivia Wilde's boobs, check. Like this look with this necklace, no way.
Score: 4/10

Julianne Moore in Chanel
Can you go wrong wearing Chanel? No, but you need to change your earrings.
Score: 8/10

Saoirse Ronan is wearing Calvin Klein
I'm very into the emerald green trend that is going on the red carpet lately. I wasn't sure at the beginning, but the more I look at this dress the more I love it.
Score: 9/10

Rachel McAdams in August Getty Atelier
Sometimes you can wear the simpliest dress and be the best dressed in the room and I feel that Rachel McAdams rocked it! It's a simple dress but the chic but also modern styling, make the overall look one of my favorites of the night!
Score: 10/10

Reese Witherspoon in Oscar de la Renta
It doesn't get more boring than this...
Score: 4/10

Rooney Mara in Givenchy
Rooney Mara has a unique style and that's always good, but I believe she needs to step it up a little. I feel like I've seen this look on her a million times before.
Score: 7/10

Sofia Vergara in Marchesa
I told Sofia to get out of her classic mermaid dress but I didn't mean she should get into this disaster...
Score: 3/10

Tina Fey in Versace
The dress is lovely but the styling is so terrible that makes her look like my mum going to a New Year's Eve party. Yes, my mum would totally wear Versace if she had the budget.
Score: 6/10

Kate Winslet in Ralph Lauren
What a disappointment... But because she's Leo's buddy and because I know she can do better than this, I'll go easy on her. This time...
Score: 5/10

That's a wrap! The award season is over! Until next time!
Congrats Leo! We love you!
