So Sona Dusk Whipped Body Butter

I'm still amazed of the evolution that's been happening in the beauty industry the last few years. Not only the big brands has revolutionised the way they produce their products but there's also a significant number of independent beauty brands that really care for their customers and they create products that do 'what they say on the tin'.

One of those brands is So Sona Skincare. They create high quality products and their main focus is to help relieve syptoms of skin conditions (like psoriasis or acne) by using natural ingredients.

For a girl like me who suffered throughout my teenage years with acne, this is music to my ears! I was really excited to try out their new product.

Dusk Whipped Body Butter*

This is limited edition and it's handmade with natural ingredients. I have to admit when I first got my hands on it I wasn't sure what to make of it. I haven't came across this kind of texture before but once I've applied it on my skin I was really impressed.

I have a lot of scars on my face due to acne, so I've focused on using it on my face. After a good cleanse I've applied on my face. It's super smooth and easy to apply. I'm not a big fan of the smell but it does feel handmade and natural.

My face does feel smooth after using it but as a butter I wouldn't recommend to apply it if you're planning to add make up. I use it before sleeptime and let it absorb for a 5-10 minutes before I go to sleep.

I've been using it for a week now and what I love the most is how my skin feels in the morning. It instantly softens and soothes my skin, and leaves it incredibly well hydrated.

Even my mum noticed the difference when we Facetime! 'I don't know what you're doing, but you look so fresh!'! Thank you mum!

It's important to point out that this butter works wonders for every part of the body so I just started using it on my legs after my shower and I have to say I absolutely love it!

Priced at £24.99 for the 100g (or £44.99 for two 100g jars) is a fair price for a handmade, natural product, especially if you're looking for something to heal any skin conditions you might have.

Overall this is a really good product but please remember that this is a butter so you need to be careful when and how to use it in order to get the best results.
